Dark circles under the eyes are a common, unattractive and very annoying problem that
affects millions of people. Despite what a lot people think, these dark circles, wrinkles and bags under the eyes are not a result of being tired or stressed. Instead most experts in the dermatology field believe that they are caused by blood vessels which are visible through the thin skin that is found beneath the eyes. The capillaries leak blood close to the skin surface.
The blood will oxidize and turn a bluish, red color. Because the skin under the eyes is very thin dark circles will appear. The lighter the skin and the growing leakage of blood will result in darker circles. The discoloration over time can become a permanent blemish.
Dark circles can be hereditary. Skin color and the thickness of skin are inherited traits and so there is no cure in these instances. However where dark circles are not hereditary they can be due to other factors.
A balanced diet is very important in order to keep your skin in good order. The lack of any of the essential nutrients in your diet may lead to a number of health problems. A lack of iron in the diet will cause a blue color to appear beneath the eyes and since the lack of iron is closely related to anemia, it is often assumed that anemia is the cause of dark circles under the eyes. Dark circles may also become prominent during menstruation and pregnancy due to iron deficiency. As the skin becomes paler, the veins become more visible. This will lead to discoloration around the eyes.
Aging skin will result in dark circles under the eyes. Collagen, which is the part of the skin that tightens the skin cells, gets damaged with aging. As a result of this skin becomes thinner and more transparent, making the blood vessels more prominent and visible from the outside. This is permanent and irreversible damage Allergies and infections have their part to play in the appearance of dark circles under the eyes. Whether from dander, pollen or foods, allergic reactions will cause the body’s immune
system to go into overdrive. The blood vessels will expand and become more noticeable.
Eye infections may lead to dark circles. Itchy and watery eyes due to bacterial infection often results in darker eyes. But, such dark circles often disappear once the infection has been cured.
When the body does not receive enough rest, combined with fatigue and overstrain, the skin will become drawn and pale. This will result in the dark circles becoming more obvious.

Well, you can try all the available creams out there but they can only do so much. Besides, the best route to go would be the natural one to make sure that you won’t experience any unwanted side effects after. To figure out the best remedy for your problem, you have to find out what caused it in the first place.
Here’s a quick overview of the different reasons why people have them as well as different ways to help you remove dark circles under your eyes.
Nutrition – If you don’t have a balanced diet then this could manifest itself in the form of these under eye circles. As we all know, our skin needs to be properly nourished with the necessary vitamins in order for it to stay bright and healthy like the rest of our body.In other words, you need to maintain a well balanced diet and make sure that you are always fully hydrated. Drink 8 glasses of water each day to help flush out the toxins and keep your skin moisturized. This is a sure fire way to reduce and prevent these under eye circles.
Fatigue and Lack of Sleep – Sleep is our body’s way of repairing itself. When a person doesn’t get all the sleep that they need, this would typically show through their eye area. Dark under eye circles and puffiness are just some of the examples of this. Obviously, the remedy for this would be to get enough sleep each and every night. However, there are people who simply can’t because of the work that they do or because of sleeping problems. To help minimize the effects of your lack of sleep, try de-puffing and reducing dark circles under your eyes through the use of tea bags. Simply put them above your eyes for a good 15 minutes to bring the puffiness down and remove dark circles under your eyes.
Aging – When we age, our eye area would be the first one to show off the signs. Wrinkles, thinning and sagging skin would soon become more noticeable. While there isn’t a remedy that would help stop aging, there is a way for you to restore your skin’s elasticity. You can try almond oil which is known to help hydrate and nourish the skin to bring back some of its former luster. It definitely is one of the best solutions if you want to remove your dark under eye circles.
There are many other natural remedies which you can find in your home that would definitely help you remove dark circles under your eyes. You simply have to be creative and try to learn more about their various properties.
Remember, the ones with the most detoxifying properties are the best ones to use.
Don’t forget to follow the age old advice of keeping yourself hydrated and protected from the sun’s harmful rays. As we have mentioned above, sleep and rest would be the best cure for your problem.

When you wake up in the morning, nothing can dampen your day worse than a pair of swollen and puffy eyes. Sometimes, these eye bags result from crying all night long after being dumped by your boyfriend or from doing lots of things that you forgot to sleep on time. Well, whatever is the reason behind your swollen eyes, they still look annoying and ugly.
Wearing a mask all day could help cover your eyes, however, you would look ridiculous in it especially if you have a meeting or you are in school. So if you do not have the slightest idea on how to de-puff you eyes, just read on and learn some tricks on how you can poof the puff on your eyes. Grab An Eye Mask One thing that could make the swelling in your eyes disappear is by wearing a chilled eye mask over that area. But it doesn't have to be super cold; otherwise you will not be able to put on the mask long enough. The cold temperature will help lessen the bloating. However, if you do not have an eye mask, you can put a slice of chilled cucumber on each of your eyes. Cucumber has antioxidants that will help minimize the appearance of eye bags and, at the same time, improve the texture of the skin around your eyes. Grab a Cool Drink In the morning, most people opt for a hot cup of coffee to awaken mind and body. However, if you have swollen eyes, a hot beverage like coffee could encourage the blood vessels in the eye area to dilate and increase the swelling. Thus, it would be better to choose cold beverages instead. Magic Tea Bags It is wise to stock up on some tea bags, especially chamomile or green tea, because tea has lots of healthful benefits, among which are easing indigestion and increasing metabolism. Apart from other benefits, tea bags can also minimize the appearance of eye bags. You can steep two tea bags in hot water for a minute or two. If you have roommates or if you live with your family, you can let them have the tea, but do get the used tea bags and chill them for 15-30 minutes. Once they are cold, you can place them on your eyes while you take a rest. Cold tea bags can help ease inflammation. Chamomile and green tea are ideal because they have calming effect and contain plenty of antioxidants. Skip The Hot Shower Or Steam Bath When you are tired and weary, a hot shower may be perfect to calm your nerves. However, if you have eye bags, you have to stay away from steam and hot showers. As mentioned earlier, anything warm or steaming could make your blood vessels dilate, which could add to the swelling in your eyes. Gentle Massages Another trick that you can do to de-puff your eye bags is gently massaging the affected areas. Circular upward motion starting from the sides of the nose to the area right under the affected eye will help ease the swelling and encourage good blood circulation. Gentle is the operative word here. You see, rubbing and hard massages could damage your skin and even the blood vessels beneath it. So, treat your eye area gently and with utmost caution. Use An Anti-Puff Eye Gel After placing tea bags, eye mask, or cucumber on your eyes, you must rinse your face well and put on an eye gel on the area. It is very important that you do not skip this part because it is necessary in banishing the bags under your eyes. One eye gel that is made from ingredients known to help reduce swelling and dark circles under the eyes is Eyevive. For more details about this product, visit http://www.eyevive.com/.>Answer by xxx
